Well this craving didn't last for long. On my lunch break yesterday I ran over to Nordstrom and indulged in the ever growing trend of chunky ID jewelry. There are a few more expensive and probably nicer bracelets (like this Marc Jacobs one or this divine Celine piece) but Nordstrom offers an equally satisfying option. Can't wait to wear it with a light and airy outfit. And yes, I got it in gold and silver.

Wanting: Flares
Here I am again. On a tireless mission to find something I must have. Something I have my heart set on, my mind set on, my whole body set on. And while I think of myself as a pretty good hunter, one that always finds the exact thing I'm looking for, this is one tough nut to crack. The flare jean.
I'm not sure what's worse. The idea of me never finding my ideal, high-rise, perfect shade of denim with the perfect bell bottom pair of jeans or the fact that because they are so hard to find indicates a sign that I really shouldn't wear them. God forbid I end up in a Jessica Simpson situation.

Wanting: Tortoise
It's about that time for a refresher on my eye glasses. I just went glasses shopping with a friend and have realized how old my current pair is. Old and dated. Right now I wear Ray-Ban wayfarers and want to try something lighter-weight and in tortoise shell. I'm loving extreme tortoise shell and especially loving the 'clubmaster' look at the bottom. Any other (cheap) ideas?
And now here's the bad news. My home computer has crashed, well it's actually expanded somehow (you read that right) to the point of it resembling a marshmallow. A marshmallow that doesn't work. Has this ever happened to anyone? There was no water or physical damage done, it just decided to...bloat. Until I save up for a new Mac, the outfit posting will be slowing down a bit. So where are those violins?

White leather jackets
I recently acquired a white leather jacket so I'm experimenting on ways to wear it without looking cheap. I say acquired because I scoured my mom's closet, which can only be described as glorious, and she let me borrow it. "Borrow." Tag was still on it. Meaning she hadn't even worn it. Meaning I might have permanently acquired it. Meaning lucky me.
I love white. White is clean, is crisp, is fresh. Is susceptible to stains. All the more reason to wear it in leather form if you ask me. While gathering some inspiration, I'm seeing that a white leather jacket looks good with black, gray and most importantly: White.

Wanting: H&M x Maison Martin Margiela
I just have to properly articulate how freakin' cool this collaboration is. So cool. Full throttle cool. Larger than life cool (literally). Oversized pieces, minimalistic color palette, edgy shapes, which consequently leave little shape, and this little nude leotard with a faux bra. Damn.

Like for Christmas but for now, things on my now list are: the perfect black pump, a really light gray wool coat, this one necklace from Forever 21 that I'm not sure why I like, metallic flats, harem pants (what), a camo coat.
Damn, I need a side job.

Wanting: Anything Tibi
Tibi has been on their game, not that they were off their game or that I'm some trend-forecaster expert, but I've been noticing a couple pieces that are absolutely lustworthy. Swoonworthy. Break the bank worthy.
Peplum jacket, bold skirt, mint mini, that.last.dress. The maxi dress blows my maxi-mind; you can buy the skirt version here if you're feeling rich. It's the 15th of the month though, so maybe you are indeed feeling rich.

Wanting: Anything ACNE
What up jean skirt? I promise this time I won't pair black leggings and Uggs with it (I know you remember those days), but ACNE is really on their denim game and this torn skirt is on fire. It's also unavailable now.

Acne, a specialist in denim but has all around amazing pieces, is a designer I've recently started admiring. It will never love me back ($$$) but a girl can dream. And maybe one day wear. Here are a few pieces from their Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. Maroon swoon.
