So edgy, right?

I normally don't classify myself as a 'girl who wears skulls', but there was something about this top that was gritty yet streamlined so I figured what the heck. It's extremely sheer, lightweight, and not pictured is the sexy open back perfect for date night. I found it at Necessary Clothing, a clothing site that I'm starting to become obsessed with (seriously check it out - it has everything). The necklace (by Gemma Simone) is a simple staple that I find myself layering on everything. Really lusting this one, too.

Thank god it's Friday and thank god little cute white tops (LWT) exist because they are taking over my closet. There is something so sweet about a basic white top with delicate detail, but I'm almost too into white these days because I'm having to make a conscious effort to wear color. Perhaps it's because I'm so busy at work that white is just easy, fresh and clean looking. It's darling with light jeans, edgy with dark jeans. This one's from H&M (their new collection is killer right now, i.e. my favorite sweater).

One of those I-think-I'll-just-get-this-neon-shirt-and-not-try-it-on moments because trying it on was just too much effort. I mean, how risky could a t-shirt be. I've already thought of multiple outfits for this puppy: cargo jeans, a major statement necklace, jorts, this sequin skirt that I haven't gotten the guts to put on for real.

Loving the way citrus and neon colors look with hunter green: yellow, orange, neon pink. It's the perfect yet unexpected way to add a pop of color.

Here I am again. On a tireless mission to find something I must have. Something I have my heart set on, my mind set on, my whole body set on. And while I think of myself as a pretty good hunter, one that always finds the exact thing I'm looking for, this is one tough nut to crack. The flare jean.

I'm not sure what's worse. The idea of me never finding my ideal, high-rise, perfect shade of denim with the perfect bell bottom pair of jeans or the fact that because they are so hard to find indicates a sign that I really shouldn't wear them. God forbid I end up in a Jessica Simpson situation.
