Wearing: Denim sweatpants

Jeans, yawn. Don't you wish denim existed in a sweatpant silhouette?

Baby I'll take away those blue jean blues with this pair of sweatpants revolutionary totally normal pants. Perfect weekend attire, take them to the movies and store popcorn in the billowy pant legs. Take them to the farmer's market and look earthy picking up that fresh rhubarb and petting that guy's golden retriever. Okay fine, I wore them to work and someone said the pants were confusing (success?). I'm feelin' pretty snazzy with a frump sweater and leopard kitten wedges that are a purrrfect height and pattern.

Casual, modern, elastic. Enjoy.

Yesterday's post got me thinking.

Thinking about how much I love the classic look of Converse. Okay, so Isabel Marant sneakers might not be in my financial future, but crisp white (optical white to be exact) high-tops are definitely in my financial present. Here they be with my harem jeans and letterman's jacket.

You read that right.

I give you the harem jeans, which are no manufacturing error people. With an elongated crotch and strange seams, this Zara pair has split from the herd of dull denim and succeeded in making jeans interesting again. Thank god.

The outfit continues with a white linen blazer, faux fur stole and metallic cap toe flats.
